Q: Are my files secure?
A: Files are encrypted with multiple layers of protection and stored securely in the cloud. This means you are able to send or receive files securely from any internet accessible computer or device.
Q: How do I send files?
A: You’ll need an account (it’s free – contact us and we can create one for you). After you login, we’ll likely have added you to a workspace, so click “Workspaces” along the top navigation bar and choose the appropriate workspace folder and workspace thread on the left sidebar. Near the bottom, you’ll see a message box where you can type a message and then click the paperclip to attach a file. You can select multiple files by holding the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) key while picking files. Otherwise, you can click the paperclip multiple times to attach multiple files.
Q: How do I download files sent to me?
A: When we send you a file, you’ll receive an email alert from Verifyle. Once you log into your account, you will find the message thread where you can click to view or download the file. You can also see a list of files on the right sidebar in your direct messages or workspace thread.
Q: I forgot my password?
A: Start by going to the Verifyle website. If you’re already logged in, click your name in the top-right corner and select Logout. On the login screen, click the “I need a new password” link. This will send you an email with a link. When you click that link, it will bring you back to Verifyle and present you a new password. You can use that password or choose to create your own password. We suggest using a random password containing letters, numbers, and symbols no less than 8 characters in length. Use a password manager like LastPass or 1Password so you don’t need to remember it.
Q: I need to change my password?
A: Start by going to the Verifyle website. Once you’re logged in, click your name in the top-right corner and select Account Settings. Select Change Password to pick a new password. We suggest using a random password containing letters, numbers, and symbols no less than 8 characters in length. Use a password manager like LastPass or 1Password so you don’t need to remember it.
Q: Is there an app for my phone?
A: Yes. Search for Verifyle in the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
Q: Do I need a Pro account? Can I use Verifyle to send files to other people?
A: For sending files to LPA Support, you only need the free account. However, with a free account, you can share up to 5GB of files with other contacts as well.
